From. Κατσιφάρας: The Region of Western Greece participates and gives the signal for “let’s Do It Greece” on 17 April

“The Region of Western Greece gives you, and this year the motto of the volunteer, the… cooperation, “let’s Do It”, awareness-raising and mobilisation of all of us for a better, cleaner and greener tomorrow, especially for our children”.This pointed to the Prefect of Western Greece Apostolos Κατσιφάρας during the meeting with the Volunteer – Visionary and Coordinator of the “let’s Do It Greece” Nikos Κιούση and the members of the steering group Helen Composition, Claus Mpalaskas and Anastasia Stamatis, which has formalized the participation of the Region of Western Greece, for one more year in the Nationwide Voluntary Campaign, by signing in parallel and feature a t-shirt to participate in the campaign.”The time has come to revise our way of thinking and to rethink our behavior, by gaining a conscience, which can lead to the improvement of human welfare and social justice. Volunteering can give hope in our day. We can change things and, in particular, attitude to life as regards the Environment. Through collaboration, volunteering, we can draw strength, optimism, confidence and hope,” stressed the Governor. Κατσιφάρας.Speaking of the New. Kiousis, thanked the Region of Western Greece, noting that “setting a good example to the other Regions for the continuous support of the action from 2013 up to today, and a major mobilization of volunteers in Western Greece every year.”In conclusion the Governor calls on everyone to support you for another year of this great and unprecedented-for Greek standards-a voluntary effort, so that the Western Greece to send loud and again the message of volunteerism, solidarity and environmental awareness. Workshops volunteering in Achaia, Aitoloakarnania and Ilia at the same time, organised by the Region of Western Greece in cooperation with the European Information Centre “Europe Direct Patra”, workshops for the volunteer campaign “let’s do it Greece”, Patras, Messolongi and Pyrgos.In the Workshops volunteers and stakeholders have had the opportunity to be informed by the Steering Group and to discuss among themselves and to develop collaborations and synergies.During their passage from the Rio Antirio bridge for the conference of Missolonghi, were admitted to the Bridge A.
