A shocking accident occurred in eastern France when two Alpha Jet aircraft from the Patrouille de France aerobatic team collided mid-air during a training exercise. The incident took place at the Saint-Dizier airbase. For reasons yet unknown, two out of six demonstration jets involved in the exercise crashed into each other. Fortunately, the two pilots and one passenger managed to eject themselves moments before the planes were completely destroyed. Authorities found the three individuals heavily injured but conscious a short distance away from the crash site. Investigations are ongoing as more details about the incident have not been disclosed.
