On Tuesday, March 11, 2025, a meeting of the leaders of European countries prepared to secure a peaceful future for Ukraine will take place. This was clarified today, March 6, by the entourage of French President Emmanuel Macron. President Macron announced yesterday the meeting of military chiefs, in which he himself will participate. It is expected that discussions will focus on the potential development of European peacekeeping forces in Ukraine. These forces would not fight on the front line but instead ensure full compliance with peace agreements after they are signed, as explained by Macron on Wednesday evening. To this end, it was announced that next week, military leaders from countries interested in participating in the peacekeeping force will meet in Paris. The French President’s office did not provide further details about who will attend the meeting, nor whether part or all of the session will be held behind closed doors.
