Croatian fans once again caused trouble during an away match of their national football team. This time, they were involved in incidents in Paris before the game. France secured its place in the UEFA Nations League Final-Four by defeating Croatia in a penalty shootout with a score of 5-4, after previously winning the first match 2-0. Approximately 300 Croatian hooligans created disturbances outside the ‘Stade de France’ in Paris prior to the match, resulting in seven arrests by the police. ‘The arrested individuals were leading the incidents and provoking others with their behavior, performing Nazi salutes and singing hymns from the Third Reich,’ stated the head of the Paris police, Laurent Nuñez.
