“Operation Apagan, which began on August 15 at the request of the President of the Republic, was completed tonight,” Parley said on Twitter, noting that “nearly 3.000 people, including more than 2.600 Afghans,” had been evacuated to France.
He added that Paris would continue to provide assistance to those in need of protection to leave Afghanistan.
