A 17-year-old lost his life after being stabbed outside a specific high school in Paris following a clash between rival neighborhood gangs. The prosecutor of Évry in Paris emphasized that six suspects have been arrested for the murder of the teenager outside the school, with investigations ongoing on charges of intentional homicide and gang-related violence. The young victim, from the Brignou area, was stabbed in the chest around 5 p.m. on Monday (24/03/2024). At that time, he was outside a high school where he wasn’t enrolled. He later succumbed to his injuries. According to initial findings, the attack falls within the context of conflicts between rival gangs. In the Essonne region, south of Paris, home to 1.3 million people, frequent clashes occur among youths, members of opposing gangs from different neighborhoods.
