A high school student was killed on Thursday afternoon (24.04.2025), and three others were injured in an attack that took place at a secondary school in the city of Nantes, according to police reports. A representative of the French police emphasized that there is no evidence suggesting a terrorist motive behind the stabbing incident. The alleged perpetrator, a 15-year-old student, was subdued by teachers before law enforcement arrived, as stated by a police spokesperson. Local media reported that a student entered the Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides school armed with a knife. The 15-year-old entered two separate classrooms on different floors of the school, stabbing four students in total. Three of them suffered serious injuries, while one victim, a young girl, succumbed to her wounds, according to Skynews.
