“Fourtuna” at PASOK for the statements on collaboration – Antroulaki effort to drop the tons

The starting week is obviously not easy for the , since after the New Left decided to support Luca Katseli in the election of the President of the Republic, Tasos Giannitsis is expected to be in third place while Syriza’s candidate in the second. And they may say in PASOK that figures are of no importance, but they know that impressions are left and even at a time when their party is fighting to establish itself as the main opposition. CORVERSE This development comes while already within the party there is turmoil from what Paul Geroulanos and Michael Katrinis said about cooperation with SYRIZA and with the New Left, but also from the position of the spokesperson for MERA 25 and the Freedom Sea. The information says from the presidential camp that both Paul Geroulanos and Michael Katrinis during the internal party election were committed to the autonomous course of PASOK, so with what they say now, they violate this agreement. PASOK spokesperson Kostas Tsukalas, speaking on this subject, stressed that “we have our autonomous course. The reconstruction of the centre left takes place within PASOK, which our goal is as PASOK, with the two-sided enlargement to cover the boundaries from left to center. We also address every citizen – whatever choice he made – and voted for New Democracy, as long as he wants a fair and sufficient state that will divide investment resources.” CORVERSE At the same time the President of PASOK wishes to appear as guarantor of this autonomous course and called for such discussions to take place within the institutions. Some of his associates even opened the debate on when and why a member of the party will be deleted. According to the same information, Nikos Androuliakis refused to enter such a discussion. The statements made by PASOK officials, however, hastened the government to exploit communication by accusing Harilau Trikoupis’ party that in order to rule it will also cooperate with the drachmas. The strange thing, however, is that despite the fact that in Harilaou Trikoupi they realize that the whole story touches on a communication plan that the government has worked out in order to prevent PASOK’s penetration into the center after Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ decision to propose a purely party candidate, Harilaou Trikoupis executives appear troubled by the impact of the New Democracy narrative. It is typical that yesterday, Sunday (19.01. 25) Nikos Androulakis attempted to reconstruct the impressions created by these statements saying that the government is trying to create a new “baboula”, my word that “you vote Androulaki, it comes out Varoufakis”. So there is no “Babulas”: you vote PASOK, you will have PASOK in the government. In my own government there will be neither dramatists nor far-righters,” said PASOK’s leader describing his party’s goal of becoming the first party in the forthcoming national elections as possible. “The next 2.5 years we will fight and succeed. Our difference with New Democracy fell from 32% to 10%,” he says referring to the steps that PASOK took under his leadership. The truth is, however, that the main opposition party should clarify how it will proceed and who it will work with once Nikos Androulakis has ruled out any possibility of co-government with the ND. Given that poll numbers do not show that PASOK currently has some great potential in Harilau Trikoupi, they will probably have to seek collaboration.
