Former Wagner mercenary raped and murdered 85 years old: Instead of imprisonment, they sent him to fight.

Ivan Rossochian’s former mercenary, who was convicted of murder and an 85-year-old, re-signed a contract with the Russian army and returned to the battlefield in Ukraine. This was announced by law website Travmpunkt and confirmed it to the BBC agency representative of the elderly family, who was raped and murdered by her former mercenaries Wagner. As the BBC wrote, in the spring of this year the district court of the Kirov area sentenced Rossomachin to 22 years in prison in a colony of ‘strict regime’ prisoners, judging the guilty of rape and the brutal murder of the retired. In July the appeals court increased its sentence to 23 years. The Rossochian case was one of the first to see the light of publicity about the repeated offences of prisoners given thanks by President Vladimir Putin and who were recruited for the war in Ukraine. According to the interrogation authorities, in March 2023 Rossochian, returning from the war in the village of Noviy Burrets in the Kirov area where he was born, invaded the 85-year-old woman’s house drunk. Completely helpless, the elderly were unable to face the perpetrator, who raped her and then murdered her. TV channel Vyatskiye Polyany reported that the 28-year-old was a Wagner mercenary and the whole village was shaking him after his return from the war. This is what his residents on the TV channel Dozd said. According to residents Rossochian was walking drunk on the streets with an axe and a pitchfork, breaking car windows and yelling that he would “kill them all”. In September 2020, Rossochistan was sentenced to 14 years in prison in a colony of prisoners of “strict regime” for murder and robbery using force and in September 2022 went to fight in Ukraine.
