The former PASOK minister and MP, Christos Rokofyllos, has passed away at the age of 94. The news was announced on Saturday (May 25) by his son, Konstantinos Rokofyllos, through a social media post. Christos Rokofyllos served as an MP for Aetoloakarnania under PASOK and held several significant roles, including Deputy Minister of Industry and Foreign Affairs. He also served as Greece’s ambassador to Paris and the Vatican and was a director at the Agricultural Bank of Greece. In a heartfelt message, his son wrote, ‘He left today peacefully, after living a full, interesting, and creative life, always with dignity. Goodbye dad, safe journey.’
