A forest fire has broken out in the Anthofyto area of Aetolia-Acarnania, a region in western Greece known for its dense woodlands and rural communities.
Emergency Response Underway
To combat the blaze, authorities have deployed 40 firefighters, including a ground team from the 6th Emergency Response Unit (EMODE), 13 fire engines, four fixed-wing aircraft, and two helicopters. The operation is ongoing, with aerial resources playing a key role in containment efforts.
