A forced landing of a private aircraft occurred earlier today (07.06.2025) at the Macedonia Airport in Thessaloniki. The aircraft, carrying six people, made an emergency landing after the crew detected smoke in the cockpit area. The passengers were safely evacuated from the plane. Initially, firefighting assistance was requested during the landing, although no fire has been confirmed, and it remains unclear where the smoke originated. Regarding the incident, officials from the Fire Service stated: “End of FULL EMERGENCY – the aircraft landed safely.”
