The wealth rankings in Forbes are surging with the world’s richest individuals. Former U.S. President Donald Trump has more than doubled his net worth to approximately $5.1 billion, partly due to his involvement with cryptocurrencies and shares in ‘Trump Media & Technology Group’. However, he still lags significantly behind Elon Musk, who tops the list. According to the latest annual Forbes billionaires list, Elon Musk is again the richest person on the planet, surpassing French luxury titan Bernard Arnault. After being second for the past two years, Musk reclaims the No. 1 spot on the 2025 list, with a net worth of about $342 billion, driven by higher valuations of startups ‘xAI’ and ‘SpaceX’, along with Tesla’s one-year stock rise. Musk is the first individual to reach over $300 billion. The top five also includes Mark Zuckerberg at $21.6 billion, Jeff Bezos at $21.5 billion, Larry Ellison at $19.2 billion, and Bernard Arnault and family at $17.8 billion. Completing the top ten are Warren Buffett, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Amancio Ortega, and Steve Ballmer.
