For the first time: The house of Manos Hadjidakis open to the public

OpenWalkAthens (OWA): An open promenade that invites Athenians to experience aspects of the city…
its history and its people. On Saturday, 4 March, from 11am until 3pm, a great celebration for all the Athenians with a starting point in the Square of the Scouts.

Pagrati: one of the most historic and most important artistic neighbourhoods of Athens, a cradle of urban culture, Pangrati. A chance on a ride to discover and take a closer look at important historical and cultural points of Pagrati like the pied Piper of hamelin, the house where he lived his most creative years. Χατζιδακις, the Pagrati park, but also features points like a candy store, “Tula”, the Scouts and many more.

Take the Square of the map in your hands and float freely with the company as the 3 in the urban and historic mosaic of Pagrati. Met Museum of the boy scouts, the big story of the Enchanted Flute, learn about the history of the 7th Grade and live the magic and the atmosphere of the house of Manu Hadjidakis. – At the booksellers Λεξικοπωλειο at 12:00 (Children’s event for children 4+): on the occasion of the new book Μαριλίτας Χατζημποντόζη “All for victory?” (eds. Red Thread Tied up), an original fairy tale about the value of cooperation and solidarity in the life, in the space of the bookstore will be reading excerpts from the author and will follow play, laugh, create, with themes inspired from the book.
– A “route” plasticised “footprints” from 11 to 3 that will connect the “Λεξικοπωλείο” with the “Blue Dot”, where the young and old friends will be able to take pictures and plasticizing of each footprint.
