Fire outside Halastra, 18 firefighters are attempting

It broke out, from unknown cause to date, in an open-air storage area of old spare machinery, at the 493th km of the Athens highway – at the height of Halastra. The fire was extended to a neighbouring irrigation channel. According to the Fire Department, 18 firefighters with 6 vehicles are attempting to fire the fire. From the fire no human lives were in danger.
