Fire in Pangeo: Fire burns for the third day – Huge firefighting operation with 210 firefighters

Superhuman efforts are making for the third consecutive day the fire brigade forces for which it is underway in Kavala on the term. The fire broke out at noon on Thursday, August 22nd, about 12:30, on a difficult forest area in the Egg region, on the ridge of Mount Pangaio in Kavala. At the point are attempted 210 firefighters with 23 vehicles, 19 teams of hikers, while from air they attempted by afternoon a three helicopter and four aircraft. The airs are to return at first light. Pangaio mountain is a large mountain volume of Greece that extends to the prefectures of Kavala and Serres. On the mountain and surrounding areas there are many and large springs, as well as streams powered by the mountain.
