Fire in Pangeo: Air Force Strengthened

It continues to burn or which has erupted since last Thursday (22.08.2024) on the ridge of the mountain. Today (25.08.2024) in the morning, according to the fire department, the aerial forces were also strengthened in an attempt to extinguish the fire at Pangeo. Specifically, a large force of the fire department consisting of 210 women and men of the fire service, 19 persons walking section and 23 aquifer vehicles, is currently attempting at the difficult forest site of Pangaion. At the same time, the firefighting force was strengthened by air, resulting in eight aircraft and three helicopters operating today.
