Fire in Koropi – Calls to 112, Water Drops from 2 Planes and 4 Helicopters

A wildfire broke out in low vegetation in the area of Agios Dimitrios, Koropi, on Friday afternoon (4.7.25). To extinguish the fire, 75 firefighters were mobilized, including five teams of ground crews from the 1st EMOODE, along with 25 vehicles and volunteers. Two planes and four helicopters conducted water drops from the air, while tankers from local authorities assisted in the firefighting efforts. The fire started in the northern part of the settlement.
