The Limassol district court issued a pre-trial detention order for eight days, against the 67-year-old who was arrested for causing the fire that has been affecting Cyprus since yesterday.
He denies any responsibility, but there are testimonies that say he left his field where he was burning grass, shortly before the fire broke out.
