A fire erupted at 7:30 PM on Wednesday (April 23, 2025) in the botanical area near the construction site of the new Panathinaikos stadium. The blaze consumed debris and old wood. According to the Fire Brigade, nine firefighters are currently on-site with three vehicles working to extinguish the flames. As of now, no homes or properties in the area are under threat.
