Extensive damage was sustained by an apartment in Zografou after a fire broke out on the morning of Great Thursday (April 17, 2025). The fire occurred in a first-floor apartment located on Agias Lavras Street in Zografou. Ten firefighters arrived at the scene with three fire department vehicles to secure the area for people and proceeded with extinguishing the flames. According to reports, the apartment—a small studio—is inhabited by a 30-year-old woman and her dog, who were fortunately outside during the incident. However, the flames caused significant damage to the apartment. Neighbors came out onto the street to calm both the woman and her anxious dog amidst the commotion caused by the fire.
