Fire Breaks Out in Troizinia: Two Aircraft Deployed to Tackle Flames

A fire erupted at noon on Monday (23.06.2025) in Methana, located in the Troizinia region. The blaze broke out in an agricultural and forested area near Agios Georgios Troizinias in Methana. Immediately upon being informed, the Fire Service was mobilized to respond to the emergency. Thirty-five firefighters, including one infantry team from the 9th Forest Firefighting Unit, 12 vehicles, and two aircraft were dispatched to the scene. There is currently no information regarding whether any residential areas are under threat. The Fire Service continues its efforts to control the situation.
