Fire Breaks Out in Aspropyrgos: Two Aircraft and a Helicopter Deployed

An emergency alert has been raised at the Fire Department following the outbreak of a fire earlier today, Thursday (19.06.25), in Aspropyrgos. According to the Fire Brigade, the fire erupted under currently unknown circumstances in low vegetation in Aspropyrgos, Attica. At the site, 28 firefighters are working with one infantry team from the 1st EMODE, nine vehicles, two aircraft, and one helicopter. Additionally, water-carrying OTA units are assisting in extinguishing efforts. So far, there is no information on whether the flames are nearing any residential areas.
