Fire Breaks Out at Landfill in Markopoulo – Aerial Means Deployed

A large fire broke out at a landfill in Markopoulo on Tuesday afternoon (01/07/2025), with significant forces deployed to the scene. At the site, 30 firefighters with 10 vehicles, volunteers, four aircraft, and one helicopter are operating to contain the blaze.
