Fire Breaks Out at Aspropyrgos Campsite with Dry Grass

A fire erupted at noon on Tuesday (17.06.2025) in the area of Kampos. The alarm was raised in Aspropyrgos after a blaze occurred at a campsite filled with dry grass. The fire started in an area with low vegetation, but the flames quickly spread due to strong winds. Four firefighting vehicles with 10 firefighters rushed to the scene, working to immediately extinguish the fire and limit its spread. According to initial reports, the fire does not threaten residential areas, but there are several workshops nearby.
