Greek farmers can now apply for a 15% financial subsidy to offset rising fertilizer costs linked to the energy crisis. The application process has opened through the myBusinessSupport digital platform operated by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE).
Who qualifies?
Eligible applicants include natural persons, legal entities, and other legal bodies engaged in primary agricultural production—provided they meet the conditions set out in the joint ministerial decision.
How much support is available?
The subsidy covers 15% of the net value of fertilizer purchase receipts issued between 15 March and 31 August 2026. The maximum aid per business is capped at €50,000.
Application deadlines and payment schedule
Applications must be submitted digitally via the myAADE portal (Applications > Businesses > myBusinessSupport > Login > Agricultural Grants/Subsidies) using personal TAXISnet credentials:
- First submission period: 9–19 July 2026 — for invoices dated 15 March to 30 June 2026.
- Second submission period: 7–17 September 2026 — for invoices dated 1 July to 31 August 2026.
Payments will be processed no later than:
- 27 July 2026 — for applications submitted in the first period.
- 25 September 2026 — for applications submitted in the second period.
Important prerequisites
Before submitting an application, applicants must declare their bank account (IBAN) on the myAADE portal under Registry & Communication > IBAN Account Declaration.
