Time is running out for Greek farmers to submit receipts for fertilizer purchases and claim a 15% subsidy on the purchase value. Following a recent extension by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE), the deadline to upload supporting documents for invoices issued between 15 March and 30 June 2026 has been moved to 31 July 2026—up from the original 19 July.
Submission Windows Based on Invoice Date
For invoices dated 1–31 July 2026, applications must be submitted between 7 and 17 September 2026. Farmers must have registered in the Farmers and Agricultural Holdings Registry (MAAE) by 31 August 2026 to qualify.
Additionally, AADE has outlined two alternative submission windows for the same March–June 2026 invoice period:
- Applications can be submitted between 5 and 21 August 2026, provided MAAE registration was completed between 1 and 31 July 2026.
- Those who registered in the MAAE by 30 June 2026 may apply by 31 July 2026.
Payment Schedule
The first subsidy payment is scheduled for completion by 10 August 2026. Two further disbursements are planned: the second by 31 August 2026, and the third by 25 September 2026, aligned with the respective application periods.
The extension aims to support eligible producers in completing the process smoothly, particularly amid seasonal farming pressures.
