The deadline for submitting applications for financial support toward fertiliser purchases has been extended to 31 July. According to a joint announcement by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, eligible farmers may apply for aid covering invoices issued between 15 March and 30 June 2026 — a measure designed to ease administrative and financial pressures.

Payment Schedule

Payments for the first application period will be made by 10 August 2026. Two further disbursement rounds are scheduled: the second by 31 August 2026 for applications submitted during the second window, and the third by 25 September 2026 for those submitted in the third window.

Registration and Application Windows

Eligibility requires prior registration in the Farmers and Agricultural Holdings Registry (MAAE). For invoices dated 15 March–30 June 2026, applications must be submitted by 31 July — provided registration in the MAAE was completed by 30 June 2026.

A second application window runs from 5 to 21 August 2026, also covering invoices from the same 15 March–30 June period — but only for applicants who registered in the MAAE between 1 and 31 July 2026.

A third window opens from 7 to 17 September 2026, covering invoices issued between 1 July and 31 August 2026 — subject to MAAE registration by 31 August 2026.

Eligibility and Aid Amount

The scheme is open to natural persons, legal entities, and other legal bodies engaged in primary agricultural production, provided they meet the criteria set out in the relevant Joint Ministerial Decision. The support covers 15% of the net value of fertiliser purchase invoices, up to a maximum of €50,000 per beneficiary.
