Today, Wednesday (April 2, 2025), according to the church calendar, the feast day of Saint Titus the Miracle-Worker is celebrated. The names celebrated today include Titus, Titis, Tita, and Titi. Saint Titus the Miracle-Worker had a soul filled with fervent love for God and his neighbor. Just as the Lord told His disciples, ‘My food is to do the will of Him who sent me,’ so too did Saint Titus live. His nourishment was doing the will of the Heavenly Father and using his life for the moral and spiritual growth of his brothers. When he became a monk, he shone with brotherly behavior, humility, and patience. He was known for overlooking faults, enduring patiently, resolving misunderstandings, and quickly gaining trust and winning hearts. Thus, he became a widely accepted spiritual leader, with many laypeople and monks seeking his guidance. God rewarded his purity of soul and life with the gift of miracle-working. After remaining steadfast in faith until the end of his life, he passed on to the Lord, leaving behind many followers. Additionally, today is also World Book Day for Children and World Autism Awareness Day.
