FDA warns of a preparation for erectile dysfunction that is circulating online

For a preparation for which the National Medicines Agency ( ) warns on the Internet by an announcement issued today Thursday (11.7.24). The FDA warns consumers not to buy or make use of BULLS EPIMEDYUMLU GINSENGLI to address erectile dysfunction. This product is promoted in the form of food (marmalade or paste) to enhance male sexual activity and it is not excluded that they are available in our country via internet. According to the results of the laboratory tests carried out, the above product contains the medicinal substance sildenafil, without being indicated in its labelling. Therefore, when using this non-approved product, there is a serious risk to the health of the user. According to the medicine guide “Galen”, sildenafil is an oral treatment for erectile dysfunction. In normal conditions, i.e. sexual stimulation, it restores inadequate erection by increasing blood flow to the penis. Consumers shall be alerted to ensure that, in the event that the product concerned is in their possession, they do not use it and inform the FVO immediately.
