Father in Britain killed his six-month-old baby shaking and hitting it in the head

Brain damage caused in six months his own father, after blows to the head and strong shaking. The case shocked her, with the 29-year-old denying she killed the kid. David Hollik of Walsall, Britain, shook and struck Cairo’s six-month-old son to death, after attacking him in the evening on February 9, 2024, while at his parents’ house, where they lived. The infant was immediately transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital where it ended up 3 days later. Hollik was sentenced to 15 years in prison by the Birmingham Court, while in hearing this sentence he burst into tears. “He fell and hit,” Hollik initially said who denied the charges. Cairo was the second child Hollik had with Adina Johnson while the couple divorced shortly after his birth. Their older child lived with his mother and Cairo with his father. Crushed Cairo’s mother said: “It has been four years since this nightmare began. I last held my son when he died in my arms. I wish I’d taken my boys home with me, but I didn’t. I never thought this would be the last time I’d look him in the eye. I’ll never see him take his first steps, never hear him call me Mom. I’ll never see him open Christmas presents under the tree.
