Fanos Mouratidis: Women Have Shaped Me Into Who I Am Today

In response to the recent controversy in parliament involving disrespectful comments towards President of the Movement for Freedom, Zoë Konstantopoulou, popular actor Fanos Mouratidis spoke out during an interview on Saturday’s (08.03.2025) ‘It Could Be Better’ show on Alpha TV. ‘I haven’t followed exactly what happened yesterday; nothing specific caught my attention regarding the phrase spoken in parliament. I don’t know what the gentleman said, but I consider myself an ally—not just for women, but for all people with their differences,’ Mouratidis noted. He emphasized that respect and appreciation are essential, stating, ‘There is our support, encouragement, and empowerment we can offer to everyone. Human dignity is a very significant matter.’ While jokingly cautioning against taking humor too far, he added, ‘Personally, I owe my evolution as a person exclusively to women. The women who have been companions through various phases of my life have made me who I am today.’
