Explosive Devices Found in University Campus: Investigation Underway

An explosion rocked the evening of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in the University Campus, where explosive mechanisms were discovered. Immediately, an ELAS unit rushed to the Zografou University Campus, shortly after 17:00, where four plates of the explosive material C4 were found. According to reports, the explosive plates were spotted by a passerby, who immediately called the police. At the scene, there was reportedly a suspect who had already fled just as the police arrived. Additionally, a container with slow-burning pyrotechnic fuse was also found at the same location. The area was sealed off by ELAS forces while a bomb disposal unit (TEEK) was dispatched to the site.
