Evia: How did the accident happen with the dead firefighter – Air pollution at a hospital in Athens

Tragedy with a dead man occurred late at noon Friday (01.11.2024) in , when a fire truck fell into a ravine in the Kochikia area, under conditions that have not become known. In the fire vehicle, moving in Evia, two firefighters were on board as a crew – one was recovered without his senses and the second was seriously wounded. The fire department spotted a civilian passing through there and alerted the authorities. The unfortunate man was about 45 years old and according to newsit.gr, he left his last breath during his ambulance transit. The second passenger of the vehicle is multi-trauma – he has broken his key and has other fractures. Newssit.gr’s information wants the injured man to declare, during his transfer to the Madudi Health Center, that the fire-fighting vehicle presented mechanical damage. In fact, it will be transported by helicopter to a hospital in Athens. The two firefighters, writes evima.gr, had gone for a detachment for the anti-fire period when for unknown reason the Fire vehicle fell into a ravine resulting in radio contact being lost. At the spot was immediately found the Commander of the fire county of Euboea Constantine Psarros, eight men with three vehicles from Chalkida and twelve men with six vehicles from Northern Evia.
