Eurovision 2025: These are the nominated songs to compete in the national final – Blocked song by Babi Stoka

The cube was cast, or else decided and we now know officially the songs that will claim the ticket to represent our country in its 69th Competition. Let us remember that after several years the management of ERT decided not to proceed with direct assignment for the song that will represent us in Eurovision and hold a national final. CORVERSE Thus 187 nominations were submitted to ERT, which the committee that was set up highlighted 12 songs, but also 3 alternates (in case there is… involvement with any of the 12), which will compete on Thursday 30 January and will be allowed to vote for the television audience. So here’s the list that ERT released with the 12 nominated songs, which you can hear… to judge what you think is best to represent our country in the coming Eurovision competition. The 12 songs “Lost My Way” – Andy Nicholas “Sirens” – Varvara Argyrou “Vale” – Evangelia “Unhurt me” – Nausica Gavrilakis “Odyssey” – Dinamiss “Free Love” – Thanos Lambrou “Elevator” – Ricky “Paradisos” – Konstantinos Christophorus “High Road” – Georgina Kalaitzoglou and Giannis Vlaseros “Plate” – Jeanos “Asteromata” – Claudia “Gio My” – Kostas Argiris Diafimisi The song entitled “I will learn to love” with performers Salina Gavalas and Tsiak, with composer Babis Stokas Stokas and songwriters Stoka and Panayiotis Tsiakalaki (Tsiak) was excluded from the National Final, despite the terms and conditions of the selection of the song, according to the public title. He was replaced by the first on the reserve list, song. It is the song entitled “Unhurt me”, with the performer of Nausica Gavrilakis and composers and songwriters Dimitris Koumbis and Nausica Gavrilakis. The 12 songs to compete in the National Final are available for hearing from today, Friday, January 10, 2025, on ERT, ERTFIX and ERTecho digital platforms, as well as on ERT YouTube channel. “The selection process was carried out in absolute transparency and is in accordance with the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) Regulations, ensuring equal conditions and equal opportunities for all participants. The selection of the twelve entries and the three backups by the members of the Critical Committee took place after listening to the audio files, based on lyrics, music and interpretation, without the members of the Critical Committee knowing the names of the participating creators and performers,” ERT notes in its announcement. The Greek final will take place on Thursday 30 January at Christmas Theater in Galachi, while the 69th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from 13 to 17 May 2025.
