The song “Asteromata”, with her performer, qualified from the National Final to represent our country in its 69th Song Contest, to be held in Basel, Switzerland, from 13 to 17 May 2025. The song with intense Greek “color”, composed by Arcade and Klavdia and lyrics by Arcade, won the first place, bringing together a total of 44 points and representing Greece in Eurovision. But how did that score come up, but also in every contestant song? To remind you that the overall score emerged from the public vote (50%), as well as two critical committees, a Greek (25%) and an international (25%). CORVERSE Under the regulation “the song that has gathered most votes, namely the first will receive twenty-four (24) points, the second twenty (20), the third sixteen (16), the fourth fourteen (14), the fifth twelve (12), the sixth ten (10), the seventh eight (8), the eighth six (6), the ninth four (4) and the tenth two (2) points. The two (2) latter will receive no rank”, while “The first song of each Jury Committee will receive twelve (12) points, the second ten (10), the third eight (8), the fourth seven (7), the fifth six (6), the sixth five (5), the seventh four (4), the eighth three (3), the ninth two (2), the nineteen (1). The last two (2) songs will not receive points. “ So after the publication of part of the analytical score ERT decided to officially announce… noon Sunday… the points for all entries you can see in the table below. Seeing the above analytical score (from the vote of audiences and committees) you conclude with a… quick look that there have been several differences between the three sides, which creates many… questions and even more comments…!
