Region: Poland unlikely to join euro before 2015, says PM The Polish deputy prime minister has said it would be very difficult to see Poland joining the euro before 2015, Reuters reported Dec. 13. Waldemar Pawlak said Poland currently meets only some of the criteria for entering the 16-state eurozone, although the country’s economic growth for this year is set to exceed expectations, he added.
