Athens accepted the προνομοθέτηση new measures for the 2019 and in return, returning the institutions in Athens.
So the Greek government was not prepared to make a step back compared with the position expressed repeatedly the same Alexis Tsipras that he would not accept “even one euro”. Now starts the negotiation for the amount of these measures.
The mini Eurogroup that was held before the regular meeting, between Euclid Thanksgiving and George Χουλιαράκη and the head of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, and Pierre Moscovici, Marco Thigh (european Commission), Klaus Regling (ESM), Thomas Βίζερ head of the EuroWorking Group), Benoit Κερέ (ECB), Delia Βελκουλέσκου and Poole Thomsen (IMF).
According to two officials, the Greek side accepted the measures for the 2019, paving the way for the return of the institutions in Athens in the coming days.
The extraordinary meeting was held between the heads of the institutions and of the Greek side, in order for there to be agreement on the content of a joint communiqué which is expected to be issued in the Eurogroup.
