On Monday afternoon (31/3/25), several villages in Euboea were left without power, causing significant concern among residents about the evolving situation due to severe weather. According to Evima, villages in the Municipality of Mantoudiou – Limni – Agias Annas have been affected by serious damage caused by the storm at Strofilia. The impacted villages include Farakla, Metochi, Zoodochos Pigis, and Spathari. A repair team has been dispatched from Istiaia to address the damage. Various municipalities across Euboea are preparing for worsening weather conditions expected over the next 24 hours. Mayor of Mantoudiou – Limni – Agias Annas, Giorgos Tsapourniotis, urges residents to avoid unnecessary travel.
