An unbelievable accident occurred this afternoon (April 15, 2025) in northern Euboea. According to local sources evima.gr and eviaonline.gr, the newly paved road gave way under the weight of a truck carrying asphalt. Just as the road repair work had begun, it collapsed, leaving the truck hanging precariously in the void. The incident took place along the coastal route between Loutrou Aedipsou and Agiou Nikolaou. The road was undergoing repairs due to recent subsidence issues following its latest paving.
