Euboea: Drunk Farmer Driver Travels for Kilometers in the Wrong Direction – Video of His Crazy Journey

A shocking incident occurred late at night (02.07.2025) on the Eretria-Amarynthos road in Euboea, where a man drove his agricultural vehicle for kilometers in the wrong direction, causing fear and panic among passing drivers. The alarming event unfolded just after midnight when the driver inexplicably switched to the opposite lane, forcing other drivers to make sudden maneuvers to avoid collision. According to evima.gr, the agricultural vehicle was seen moving against traffic flow while another was driving normally. A fire department vehicle returning from extinguishing an operation promptly alerted the police about the erratic driver, who was eventually stopped at a police checkpoint. After undergoing an alcohol test, it was confirmed that he was under the influence of alcohol. The man was immediately arrested and taken to court under the provisions of the new, stricter Road Traffic Code.
