Ersin Tatar: Obsession in two states and settlement of Famagusta

According to the leader of the pseudo-state, Varos is part of the policy for two states based on sovereign equality, living side by side.

He said that the Turkish Cypriot side always showed its goodwill, but after Crans Montana, it seemed that the agreement on a federal basis could not be made because the Greek Cypriot side does not accept the Turkish Cypriots as equals.

Mr. Tatar said that after the pandemic, the pseudo-state “will be strengthened” and that the conditions for that have already begun to be created.

Varosia is in the territory of the TDBK (pseudo-state) and the transfer of their management to the UN is ruled out. “We could not keep them closed for another forty-six years.”
