Eretria: A 50-Year-Old Fisherman Found Dead Inside His Boat

A somber discovery unfolded in Eretria as a 50-year-old fisherman was found deceased inside his boat on Thursday night (May 29, 2025). According to local reports from Evima, the unfortunate man was located unconscious within his caique in the coastal area of Malakonta on Evia. Passersby alerted authorities after spotting him unresponsive. An EKAB ambulance promptly arrived at the scene and transported the fisherman to the General Hospital of Chalkida, where his death was officially confirmed.
