Don’t forget that. ” After the criminal investigation, the mayor of Constantinople stated in his post in X that he did not threaten anyone’s family and children. “Every word I used was a request for an impartial legislation for children and the future of everyone in this country. I support what I said,” he noted. At the expense of Imamoglu there is an initial conviction of 2 years , 7 months and 15 days from the well-known 2019 case , because he described the members of the Supreme Election Commission who did not ratify his victory in the municipality of Istanbul as being the winner of the elections in which he also emerged. Opposition sources accuse President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government of setting court traps against Imamoglu to halt his political rise even in the country’s presidency.
