Regarding Greece, Erdogan emphasized that Turkey aims to develop relations based on cooperation, good neighborliness, friendship, and alliance. On his trip to northern Cyprus for Teknofest—an international aerospace and technology festival—he highlighted infrastructure projects such as the new parliament building and presidential palace. He reiterated Turkey’s commitment to advocating for Turkish Cypriots’ rights and interests globally.
The president also mentioned possible face-to-face talks with former U.S. President Trump, noting their productive phone conversations. Defense collaboration with Italy was another focus, where Erdogan praised mutual technological exchanges benefiting both nations. Lastly, Erdogan criticized Israel over its actions in Gaza and Lebanon, accusing it of spreading conflict across the region.
