Erdogan Calls Netanyahu the Biggest Threat to Regional Security

In a new verbal attack, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described Benjamin Netanyahu as the ‘biggest threat to regional security.’ During a phone call with Qatar’s emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Erdogan discussed the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel. According to a post on the Turkish presidency’s social media, Erdogan stated that the Israel-Iran conflict ‘should not overshadow the humanitarian crisis and genocide in Gaza.’ Additionally, the Turkish president emphasized his intensive diplomatic efforts concerning the tension in the Middle East due to Israel’s attacks on Iran. He also pledged to continue his efforts to end the cycle of violence.
