The injury of Thomas Walkup has opened the door for a new naturalized player in Greece, and it seems that the Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK) made a proposal to Panathinaikos’ Jerian Grant, but without success. According to reports, Panathinaikos was negative regarding both Jerian Grant and Kentra Nan cases, as its management is against player naturalizations and also does not maintain good relations with EOK. Consequently, the Greek federation must explore other options, with Tyler Dorsey being another tested solution for the ‘blue-white’. It’s worth noting that a Greek passport for Grant or Nan would allow Panathinaikos to have all their foreign players available for the Basket League, which wasn’t enough to persuade them.
