Engine Failure on Superstar Ferry – Returning to Volos at Reduced Speed

The Superstar ferry, which was operating a route from Volos to Skiathos and Skopelos, experienced a malfunction in its left main engine. Due to the mechanical issue, it was decided that the ferry would return to the port of Volos, traveling at a reduced speed. The Superstar ferry carries 418 passengers, 59 cars, 17 trucks, and 9 motorcycles onboard.
