Emotional Moments at the Memorial Race for the 57 Victims of Tempi Tragedy

On Sunday morning, March 9, 2025, emotional moments unfolded during a memorial event honoring the 57 victims of the tragic railway accident in Tempi. The race, dedicated to those who lost their lives in the disaster, covered 30 kilometers and attracted approximately 800 runners this year. Participants ended at the ‘zero point,’ where the tragedy occurred. The race commenced at 9:30 AM with 800 runners, including relatives of the victims. Many participants wore black jackets and carried photographs and names of the victims. Cyclists and motorcyclists joined the families at the ‘zero point’ to thank everyone for honoring the 57 victims. Prior to the start of the race, a minute of silence was observed.
