ElvalHalcor Launches New €250M Share Issue Amid €455M Aluminium and Copper Investments

ElvalHalcor has officially launched trading of its newly issued shares following a successful capital increase. The traditional bell-ringing ceremony was performed by Konstantinos Katsaros, Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors, in the presence of group executives, as well as representatives from the Hellenic Capital Market Commission and the Athens Exchange—including Giannis Kontopoulos, CEO of Euronext Athens, who highlighted strong participation from both institutional and private investors.

€250 Million Capital Raise

The ElvalHalcor Board approved the issuance of €250 million in new shares—representing 59,523,810 new ordinary shares with a nominal value of €0.39 each—priced at €4.20 per share. The offering was executed through two parallel channels: (i) a public offering in Greece targeting private and qualified investors, and (ii) a private placement outside Greece.

Advisors and Placement Agents

For the Greek public offering, Eurobank served as Issuance Advisor. Eurobank, AXIA Ventures Group, National Bank of Greece, and Piraeus Bank acted as Placement Coordinators. Ambrosia Capital Hellas, BETA Securities, EUROXX Securities, Pantelakis Securities, and Optima Bank served as Placement Agents.

For the international offering, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe and UBS Europe jointly acted as Global Coordinators and Bookrunners. Eurobank, AXIA Ventures Group, National Bank of Greece, and Piraeus Bank served as Joint Bookrunners, while the same Greek securities firms—Ambrosia Capital Hellas, BETA Securities, EUROXX Securities, Pantelakis Securities, and Optima Bank—acted as Co-Bookrunners.

Strong Investor Demand

The combined offering period concluded on 16 July 2026. Total investor demand at the offer price amounted to 163,387,668 shares—equivalent to approximately €686.2 million—exceeding the target amount by roughly 2.75 times.

Allocation and Capital Structure

The final allocation of new shares was as follows: 14,880,952 shares (25%) to private investors in Greece, and 44,642,858 shares (75%) to international investors participating in the overseas placement.

As a result, ElvalHalcor’s share capital increased by €23.2 million, reaching €169.6 million, divided across 434,765,396 shares with a nominal value of €0.39 each.

Use of Proceeds

After deducting estimated issuance costs of around €13 million (VAT inclusive), net proceeds totalled €237 million. These funds will be deployed toward the company’s ongoing investments in aluminium and copper production—part of a broader €455 million investment programme.
